Kittikatz Rescue

Cats looking for new homes

Who are we and what do we do?

We are a small group of cat lovers, run and financed entirely on a voluntary basis, who began rescue work in 2000. Our aim is to rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens, fostering them until we find permanent loving homes. We arrange for them to be neutered, vaccinated and health checked by Frean & Smyth Vets. In the case of strays we do all we can to re-unite them with their owners.

Would you consider becoming a member of Kittikatz Rescue or making a donation? Your contribution in full would go towards the following:

  • Vet fees
  • Cat food and litter
  • Cat carriers
  • Beds
  • Food bowls and toys
  • Petrol for the transportation of cats/kittens
  • Telephone calls
  • Postage & Stationary

As a member you would receive two newsletters per year, containing articles written by other members and also details of forthcoming fund-raising events such as Fairs and Sales.

Cats currently looking for a new home

Adele: A black and white domestic short hair who we think is about 18 months old. She was abandoned at the Vets in april 2009. She was a little feisty and untrusting at first but has improved since living with Ann. She is used to living with other cats and dogs but would not be suitable in a family with young children.

Luca: Is a big neutered male tabby cat who we think is about 7 years old. Luca was found as a stray in october. He is very friendly but can be a little nervous until he gets to know you. He would make a wonderful family pet.

Saffron & Spice: This pair of tortie sisters are about 3 years old and have been neutered. They are both very friendly and mischievous and would need to be re-homed together.
